i look like a moose.

Today, I went for the curly hair look. But, I sadly hate using a curling iron. For a while I thought I couldn't ever curl my hair unless I braided it... This gave me some serious poodle hair. I tried everything. But, bantu knots are what worked for me. Bantu. What kind of a name is that?! I know, a ridiculous one! So I changed it. MOOSE knots. Again, why moose knots?

How did I do this you ask? Easy! Take ALMOST DRY hair and brush it out completely. Next, I do a middle part and ponytail one side to keep it seperate. On the loose side, take small sections of hair (the smaller the curlier for me) take each section and twist it to the end! Then take the spirals and spin it around on your head. Next, bobby pin the ends (if they dont stay wind a small hairtie around them to keep it sturdy). Do that to all of your hair on both sides. Take a picture of your moose hair! It is  fun and ridiculous all at the same time. Mostly fun though. :) Sleep with your knots in your hair to give them that finished look. When you wake up un bobby pin them and hairspray. Do not seperate your curls until you have sprayed them. If you are doing it during the day (like I do, since I am always last minute), blow dry the knots and spray them as you go. when the knots have been completely dried (put your finger in one to test), then un do all the bobby pins and get the same look! Next do whatever to your hair you want to do. In my opinion anything looks good with this '"do". You can braid your bangs back, put them in a poof, even a ponytail looks better curly for something different, and a messy bun looks a lot fuller and neater with curly hair. I ask you post pictures to show us YOUR moose knots and what you did with your hair once you took out the twists!
